Core Fitness™

Alice Ann Dailey, a renowned fitness expert, and TV personality, Ellen Locy, host the 13 part half-hour program series, "Your Dailey Inner Body Workout" which explains and demonstrates the fitness philosophy known as Core Fitness™. A biomedical expression, Core Fitness™ describes the healthful state of the small muscles in our bodies that hold our bones together. A workout routine that focuses on the core muscles is what the show is about.

Ellen and Alice AnnMs. Dailey’s expertise on this subject derives from her personally studying with well-known and documented fitness experts like Joe and Clara Pilates, Moishe Feldenkrais and others, plus holding a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology. Combining elements of these disciplines and her knowledge of biomechanics and human anatomy, Ms. Dailey has created this unique fitness program, "Your Dailey Inner Body Workout" which concentrates on strengthening and conditioning core muscles.

Core Muscles

Until recently, the average work-out enthusiast has been unaware of the differences between "core" muscles and "outer" muscles. Our outer muscles such as biceps, triceps, quads and gluts are the muscles readily seen when looking at the naked body. The core muscles are less visible but provide support and an underlying framework for our external, motorized musculature.

Alice Anne with show graphicUnless we are aware of these inner body, "core muscles" and without exercises to keep them in shape, our bodies cannot maintain the skeletal strength, balance and posture necessary to live a long and active lifestyle. With a helpful and instructional show like "Your Dailey Inner Body Workout" our audience will become educated in this newest exercise discipline that benefits both the young and old in varying degrees of fitness.
